YOU WILL NOT DROWN!
While navigating this life given to us by God, we occasionaly sink in despair. Isaiah 43:2NTL says, "When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up. God is the Lifeguard on duty!
OCTOBERS' Theme: "Yes, Completely Yes"
The Garden of Gethsemane, (gat shemamim=oil press in Hebrew), is the place where Jesus and (Peter, James & John), came with him to Pray. Matthew 26:39, 42,44 records a conversation between Jesus and God, while being pressed like an olive, in surrendering His Will to God.
v.s. 39 And after going a little farther, He fell face down and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will but yours be done.
Jesus agonized as a man but submitted his will as the Son Of God. Have you relinquished your will to that of the Fathers'? Just Say, YES completey, YES!
